If the floor is painted your minimum requirement is to go tougher and use at least 24 or 16 grit paper this provides
best results on paint option or if you are using much hardwood on the floor such as maple floor are so hard
they often require 36 grit sandpaper to sand the floor which provides you amazing finish on the floor.
